Artemove was born in April 2011, as a result of the passion for dance of teacher and choreographer Paula Careto and Marisa Silva, her usual student.
After more than 30 years of teaching dance in Cascais, Paula Careto's vast artistic experience combined with Marisa Silva's training in marketing and business management created the necessary conditions for the creation of a teaching, development and artistic dissemination structure aimed at high levels of quality.
Located in the center of Cascais, Artemove is committed to professional, dedicated, versatile and multidisciplinary education.
The school offers the community an artistic education of excellence, both for students who see dance as their professional future, and also for all those who make dance an instrument of growth and personal appreciation.
Com a team chosen with the greatest rigor in terms of technical and pedagogical qualification, and through a stimulating, open and creative environment, Artemove proposes to develop skills, creativity and talents in a consistent and to be continued.
The teaching and practice of any modality is seen as a journey that each student can take, evolving and growing without imposed limits and always guaranteeing their well-being.

ARTISTIC AND PEDAGOGICAL DIRECTION
Marisa Silva
Co-founder of the Artemove project – Academia de Artes. At the moment, he has a management and pedagogical role at the Academy, teaching Modern Jazz for Children and Bar Bar on the floor.
Her dance training began more than 20 years ago. He began his journey with teacher Paula Careto, who became his main advisor and pedagogue. Training in Modern Jazz, classic e Contemporary Dance through classes and workshops_cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_com teachers such as Paula Careto, Ana Manzoni, Carlos Caldas, Pedro Berdayes, Sofia Silva and Vanda Oliveira.
He participated for several years in the summer courses of the superior school of dance. As a teacher for several years, she replaced Paula Careto in her classes, intermediates and advanced.
She participated in several shows performed at the Auditorio Parque de Palmela & Casino do Estoril by teacher and choreographer Paula Careto. First as a student and dancer, then accumulating the role of direction and production.
It underlines the success of the most recent shows – 2010 “Mater” and 2011 “(des)encounters.
He danced on various stages, events and competitions, national and international, highlighting Premi Ricard Moragas Competition, January 1998 Barcelona, Benefit Show Grand Auditorium of Caixa Geral de Depósitos, January 1997, Tivoli, Culturgest and Aula Magna, in 1996.
At the same time, he has a degree in management from ISEG and has a curriculum with more than 10 years of experience in the field of Marketing and Sales in an American multinational.
Paula Careto
Dancer, Teacher and Choreographer since 1980.
With an artistic background in Classical, Contemporary and Jazz Dance, she has always sought stimuli inside and outside the country (Spain, France, Holland, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, among others) in identifying her own movement.
Dancer, Choreographer, Dance and Movement Teacher for Actors, she has worked with several personalities in the artistic environment, highlighting: António Pires, António Feio, Benvindo Fonseca, Carlos Avilez, Henrique Fiest, João Brites, João Mota, Mary Fulkerson, Ramon Oller, Redha Bentheifour, Rui Horta, Stephanie Skura, Yoshico Chuma.
Musical Theater dance teacher teaches regular classes, intensive courses and exam preparation for Trinity school in London.
Co-founder, rehearser and assistant to Benvindo Fonseca of Companhia de Dança LISBOA BALLET CONTEMPORANEO from 2003 to 2008.
Choreographer regularly for cultural and commercial events, for plays and television programs, highlighting in 2015: “50 Sombras”- Musical, “Godspell”- Musical, Rapazes Nus a Cantar”- Musical, “4 Santos in 3 Acts” – Theater.
Co-founder, artistic director and professor at Artemove- Academia de Artes, in Cascais, since 2011.
