ACROBATICS
Gymnastics is a sport made up of different modalities such as: artistic gymnastics, acrobatics, trampolines, rhythmic gymnastics, gymnastics for all and aerobics and at artemove we try to do a little of all gymnastics modalities, in order to develop the students' physical and psychological capacities. This class aims to promote motor skills such as coordination, posture, flexibility, strength, dexterity, resistance, rhythm, agility, balance through rigor combined with fun.
The harmonization of the body and facial expression are also characteristics of these classes, in which, through music, gymnasts develop these skills individually and in groups.
BALLET
Ballet, or Classical Dance, is one of the forms of art whose importance in the education of children and adolescents is amply proven by the beneficial results it obtains from those who practice it.

BAR ON THE FLOOR
Starting from a horizontal position in which the whole body is in contact with the ground, a greater awareness of verticality and correct posture is acquired.
Coordinating breathing with sequences of simple movements, we work on flexibility, strength in stretching and the entire abdominal area.
It's a good way to tone all the muscles in your body.
CONTEMPORARY
Contemporary dance emerged in the 1960s as a way of breaking with the
classical culture.
This style defines movement as its own language.
With several techniques within contemporary dance, this style has countless
different interpretations.
The moving body establishes its own identity, musicality and history, creating
thus a unique and varied vocabulary.
There is a fusion between body and mind, which results in movements that highlight and
work not only the body, but also expressiveness and feeling, hence it is a style of
very complete and variable dance. Each dancer or choreographer has autonomy to build
its own choreographic language.

CREATIVE DANCE
Creative Dance is for children from 3 to 5 years old.
It is an initiation to dance. The posture, rigor, musicality, are some of the basic elements
practiced during the course of the lesson.
In the beginning, the exercises/games are always associated with creative practices, so that the children
feel motivated and develop their skills in a context at the same time
fun and rigorous.
Children who practice this type of artistic activity develop levels of
concentration, creativity, body awareness and learn to relate to other children
as well as respecting them in a physical and intellectual context.
SPECIFICATIONS & OBJECTIVES
The main objectives to be developed during Creative Dance classes are:
-
Appropriate behavior within a dance class;
-
Posture/Flexibility – execution of some exercises that help to be aware of the posture required for the practice of Classical Dance, also suitable for other dance styles;
-
Coordination – this is challenging work for children, as they start to get a sense of their body (head, torso and limbs), learning to work with both different parts simultaneously;
-
Spatial Notion – developing awareness of the “I” inserted in a space and in relation to other colleagues; distribution in lines, chess, being in a row, wheels, diagonals, bar and center;
-
Musicality – music appears, at this stage, always associated with dance and we work the rhythmic sense with body movements;
-
Creativity – the entire set of technical exercises must contain a good dose of creativity, as the children's universe demands, so that concentration and motivation are maintained until the end;
-
Mime/Expressivity – the expression of the face and body is worked on a lot at the beginner level, also as a stimulus for the child's creativity, since Dance is, par excellence, a form of expression, of art.
HIP HOP
Hip-hop is a cultural movement that began in the late 1960s in the United States as a reaction to social conflicts and violence suffered by the less favored classes of urban society.
It emerges as a culture of the streets, a movement to claim space and voice from the peripheries, translated into Rap with questioning lyrics, in Graffiti on city walls and in Dance, with strong, marked and spectacular movements. Although often connoted with an aggressive side, Hip-Hop expressed in dance shows the sensitivity of the performers and ends up being seen as a new aspect of dance, with technique, with training requirements and hence being taken from the streets into gyms. and dance schools.
In our classes to the rhythm of Hip-Hop music, which today is so well known and appreciated by children and young people, we intend to become aware of the possible movements and rhythms in our body, as well as to develop skills such as strength, balance, coordination, musicality and spatial awareness. through learning some basic movements and simple choreographic compositions, precisely adapted to the ages and experience of the students. Resistance and self-esteem are also two very important elements to develop in the practice of Hip-Hop classes.

JAZZ
Jazz is a form of expression created and sustained by improvisation. In its origin, Jazz Dance has essentially popular roots.
With an initial evolution parallel to that of Jazz music, it emerged in the US at the end of the last century. It can even be said that it was born directly from black culture and progressed through the mixture of imitation of European rhythms with the natural customs of blacks.
As the years went by, the century passed, and Jazz dance assimilated the influence of many dance genres, as well as incorporating in its essence the technique of classical and contemporary dance for a perfect and eclectic execution of movements.
In the Jazz class we introduce some dance concepts, specifically jazz dance, through fun and motivating work.
There is a concern in working with children and adolescents, on the one hand the introduction of technique and physical preparation (example: flexibility, balance and muscular strength) fundamental for any type of dance and for a healthy growth, and on the other the development through adequate coordination exercises, fundamental in this phase of growth, such as memory, self-confidence, security and responsibility for individual and group work, through the construction and presentation of choreographies.

MODERN JAZZ
Modern Jazz is the current version of this type of dance that has created its own language, and which, because it is so comprehensive, can take on different forms depending on the teacher or choreographer who creates the movement.
Its principle is that dance is a fusion of movements, sharing emotions with music in the background. All styles are a stimulus for the constant search for movement, identifying each one's style.
Varied formation with merged dance styles, making the dance much more expressive and rich. The class goes through jazz, contemporary, classical technique, floor work and improvisation.
A work of posture, flexibility, coordination, isolation, musicality, expressiveness, creativity and spatial notion is developed.
END
Most young dancers dream of dancing on pointe, however, this is a technique that
must be approached with great caution.
The pointe technique requires solid technical knowledge and good physical preparation, and it is up to the teacher to monitor the anatomical development of each student, respecting their characteristics and limitations.
In the classes we work on strength in the legs, feet and ankles, but also on the grace of the arms, posture, movement control, motor coordination and balance.
